Emirates shows off luxury and elegance with its A380

Among airliners, Emirates certainly takes the lead in luxury, majesty and comfort with its giant of the skies, Airbus 380.
It is equipped with GP7200 or RR Trent 900 turbines capable of giving the aircraft a thrust of 70,000 pounds, a range of 15,000 kilometres, and a cruising speed of Mach 0.85 at an altitude of 43,100 feet.
Its length is comparable to that of two blue whales lined up in a row and its height is equal to that of five giraffes.
Talking about excellence, Emirates holds the record if we think of its fleet of no less than 116 aircraft, which it manages respecting criteria of safety, reliability and guaranteeing a true sensory experience due to the great attention to detail and all interiors.
Capable of transporting 853 people in the charter version or 525 in the typical three-class configuration, with a length of 72.6 metres, a wingspan of 79.75 metres, a fuselage diameter of 7.14 metres and a height of 24.27 metres, it has nothing to envy from business jets.
Climbing aboard the aircraft and walking down a luxurious staircase finished in every detail, one ascends to First Class: a concentration of luxury, comfort and technology to make one’s eyes drop.
The cabin is equipped with an HD screen with ICE, Emirates’ award-winning in-flight entertainment system which offers over 5,000 channels with the best films, TV programmes, live TV, podcasts and music, while on the plane there are two convenient drawers with a notebook and a courtesy kit with various travel products.
Completing the furnishings is a comfortable, enveloping seat, designed to welcome and pamper the passenger throughout the flight, who can also use a display placed alongside to manage the cabin entertainment and the assistance of the ever-efficient cabin crew.
There is also a carefully selected seat-side minibar.
In addition, the new fleet has a whole new look: state-of-the-art seats in Premium Economy, zero gravity in First Class and soft cream leather in Business Class.
But the surprises don’t end there in first class. At an altitude of 40,000 feet, it is even possible to take a thermal hydromassage shower.
No less exclusive is business class, which boasts comfortable and elegant seats in a modern design with a 20-inch HD screen and a mini bar.
Both first and business class passengers have access to a dedicated lounge where they can enjoy a selection of premium drinks and canapés, or ask to enjoy gourmet dishes.
In any case, the Emirates experience already starts before boarding the Airbus where the elegance and dazzling smile of the staff in charge of taking care of travellers, stands out from the Lounge at the Leonardo da Vinci airport in Rome-Fiumicino.
Here you are surrounded by large spaces to work in comfort or simply relax while waiting for the flight, while the most refined palates can access the buffet where professional chefs serve excellent dishes that rival starred cuisine.
Notice how the restyling of the interiors in all cabins, including 56 seats in Premium Economy class on the main deck and new color tones in the carpet and wall panels recall luxury sophistication even before the flight and one has the feeling of being almost at ‘entrance to a spa except that the view is on the runways.
