IndiGo, India’s leading low-cost airline, is launching an entirely new service that brings comfort and business-class amenities to domestic flights!
The new service has started on November 14, 2024, when the first IndiGoStretch A321neo has covered the Delhi-Mumbai route, marking the start of a new era of premium travel in India.
Here’s what to expect:
• Business class with coupe-style seats, designed by Recaro, featuring a sophisticated six-way adjustable headrest with enhanced neck support, extra legroom, and unparalleled comfort.
• Exclusive healthy meals prepared by Oberoi Flight Services.
• Exclusive benefits: priority check-in, advance seat selection, and generous baggage allowances (up to 30 kg!).
• Cutting-edge technology: each seat is equipped with an electronic device holder, a 60W USB-C power port, and a universal power outlet.
CEO Pieter Elbers stated: “IndiGoStretch meets the evolving needs of travelers, offering a premium experience to both seasoned professionals and those looking to try luxury travel for the first time.” The announcement coincided with the airline’s 18th anniversary celebrations, highlighting the company’s ongoing innovation and adaptation to market demands and the growing economy of the country.
Next steps: By January 2025, all Delhi-Mumbai flights will be operated with IndiGoStretch aircraft, and the service will be expanded to the Delhi-Bengaluru and Delhi-Chennai routes by March 2025.
