The Italian airline company Neos has doubled air connections between Milan Malpensa and JFK airport in New York, bringing them from one to two per week.
The increase in frequency of the service, on which a B787-9 is used in cargo mode only, started at the beginning of March. In particular, Neos has now added a Saturday flight in the westbound direction (in addition to the Thursday one), while in the eastbound direction a Friday departure has been added alongside the Sunday one.
Three weeks ago, the company Neos had reported that it had welcomed a new B787 Dreamliner into its fleet, renamed Ciudad de La Habana, as part of a planned renewal operation.
Neos (registered as Neos S.p.A.) is an Italian leisure airline, headquartered in Somma Lombardo, Lombardy. It is a subsidiary of Alpitour S.p.A. It operates a fleet of Boeing 737 Next Generation, Boeing 767, and Boeing 787 aircraft to over 73 scheduled domestic, European and intercontinental destinations. The airline operates from its main hub at Milan Malpensa Airport.
