The new Air France first class
Added on Fri March 28th, 2025
Just over 10 years after introducing its First Class, Air France is renewing its most exclusive seat, La Première, to expand the number of aircraft equipped and destinations served.
Key features of the new La Première:
- Only 4 seats per cabin (compared to 8 from competitors) for maximum exclusivity.
- 25% more space than the previous version, with 5 windows per passenger (2.4 m²).
- No overhead bins above the seats, creating a more open and spacious environment.
- Total privacy, maintaining the iconic curtain instead of rigid walls to reduce the aircraft’s overall weight.
- Advanced technology (control tablet for seat adjustments, two 32-inch screens per passenger)
- Installation on 14 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft starting in April 2025.
- Three aircraft reconfigured every two months, with completion by the end of 2026.
- New York (first destination), followed by Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo.
- Exclusive lounge in Paris with full VIP services (immigration, baggage, boarding passes).
- Option to book one of three private apartments in the lounge instead of waiting in the common area.
